The Virgin Valley Water District is announcing an Open House to take place on March 17, 2010 for the Arsenic Removal Treatment Plant #27, located at 712 Hardy Way. The Open House will run from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Children are welcome to participate, but it is very important that they be closely supervised as the plant will be in operation.
There will be operators and representatives of the Engineering Firm that designed the plants on hand to answer any questions.
This plant is being chosen for the Open House for its accessibility. All of the five (5) plants function in the same manner. Please take the opportunity to see the result of the Arsenic Removal Project for yourself.

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the overall operation of the District, including administration, engineering and operations and maintenance. The General Manager is charged with the full responsibility of executing the policies of the District and the directives of the Board.Interested candidates are required to fill out a VVWD Employment Application in order to be considered for current career opportunities.
